Unmissable events, all year round

With our jam-packed, year-round calendar of events you’ll never be short of things to do at Battersea Power Station. Discover our summer of sports at The Battersea Games from 1st July – 8th September 2024. Return at Christmas for festive extravaganzas including a giant riverside ice-skating rink, and the mesmerising Light Festival taking over the neighbourhood every January/February. In between, you’ll find family-friendly activities, sustainable markets, exclusive pop-ups, and so much more!This summer kicks off with The Wimbledon Experience from 1st – 14th July 2024, where you can enjoy the world-famous tennis tournament on a big screen along the River Thames. Battersea Power Station will then become Official Team GB and ParalympicsGB Fanzones for the Paris 2024 Olympics so you can watch all the action and cheer on the athletes, alongside an exciting array of other activities and celebrations across the neighbourhood including Padel courts and outdoor games, plus delicious food and drink pop-ups. A foodies dream

Every good day out needs amazing food to match, and at Battersea Power Station, we have you covered. Whether you’re looking for gourmet grab-and-go options, artisan coffees and pastries, or a fine dining experience along the River Thames, we have more than 50 restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from that satisfy all palates and price points.

Explore more than 13 global cuisines at Arcade Food Hall, complete with two bars and three restaurants. Be transported to Bombay at Dishoom, with their signature dishes taken straight from an Irani café. Culture galore

Step back in time to the twentieth century and discover this iconic architectural landmark. Once supplying a fifth of London’s power, including the likes of Buckingham Palace and Houses of Parliament, visitors can now marvel at the building’s six-million brick facade, extraordinary 1930s and 1950s interiors, and four chimneys that soar into the sky and have made this landmark instantly recognisable to fans across the globe.

Book on to the official guided tour, which includes access to the fascinating Control Room A, or visit 1950s cocktail bar Control Room B and experience a 30 minute audio-guided tour of the switchgear and synchroscopes that were used to help distribute power around London day and night.

Get lost in the clouds at Lift 109

Experience London from a brand new perspective at Lift 109, the unique chimney lift experience in the Power Station’s north-west chimney, offering mesmerising 360-degree views of London.

The journey starts in Turbine Hall A, through a carefully curated ensemble of original records and evocative media displays, where you can delve into the building’s rich history and transformation. From here, take a thrilling ascent 109 metres to the top of the chimney, where you can see the Power Station from above and take in stunning views from as far as Wembley Arena to Canary Wharf. You won’t find a better photo spot in London!

A green escape from the city

There’s no better place to escape the hustle and bustle of Central London than in our six-acre Power Station Park, where you can sit back on a free deckchair and take in views of the River Thames. Plus we have a fantastic children’s playground where the little ones can let off some steam, with areas and equipment for all ages. We’re also a stone’s throw (with direct pedestrian access) from the iconic 200-acre Battersea Park on the banks of the River Thames.
