Penhaligon's

British fragrance house

Penhaligon’s story starts in 1870 with their founder, William Penhaligon. A humble Cornish barber who rose to the Royal Court and trimmed the Shah of Persia’s beard.

The first creation Hammam Bouquet, inspired by the Turkish Baths, which was an exotic and exciting scent. Mayfair’s bright young things clamoured for more, and more they received. A slew of fabulous and elegant fragrances followed and have ever since.

Today, Penhaligon’s is perhaps the world’s most esteemed fragrance house. Holding a Royal Warrant and continue to entertain the world’s nostrils with a dose of Britishness, and some rather dazzling scents.
