How do you pack a life into 23 kilograms? One item at a time.
Transit is an award-winning, evocative investigation of migration and what it takes to call a place home. Told through a series of vignettes utilising physical theatre, poetry, dance, multimedia, practical lights and live music, Transit navigates the tricky feeling of being ‘too foreign for here, too foreign for home.’
Based on true stories gathered from migrants across the UK, Transit asks: what does it mean to settle in the space between languages, cultures and identities?
This deeply human piece is a love letter to everyone who has ever moved away from home, whether that be 5 or 5,000 miles away.
