Celebrating a decade since its Soho debut, Duck & Rice has opened its second location on Level 1, Turbine Hall B!
Known for its unique blend of British pub culture and Cantonese cuisine, the original Berwick Street venue transformed a historic pub into a vibrant dining destination. The new 185-seat Battersea restaurant continues that legacy with an open-plan design, an open kitchen, and a raised bar serving draught beer, cocktails, and soft drinks.
Designed by Macaulay Sinclair, the space draws inspiration from South China’s Cha Chaan Teng tea houses—casual, communal spots where people gather to “yum cha”—mirroring the warmth and sociability of a British pub. The menu showcases Cantonese comfort food designed for sharing, with hero dishes like pork & prawn shumai, curry soft shell crab, and the iconic Cantonese House Roast Duck. Whether for a laid-back drink or a full meal, Duck & Rice brings a bold, flavourful experience to Battersea.
