New Under The Arches Indian Railway-Inspired Menu at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea

There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about the railway journeys of India in the 1950s and 60s. The calls of platform vendors as trains pulled into stations, snacks passed through carriage windows, food piled high on railway trolleys and the anticipation of what might be waiting at the next stop.

From Monday, Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea is bringing that experience beneath the Battersea railway arches with its new Under the Arches: The Battersea Line Experience.

This £45 menu unfolds like a journey of its own. Each course takes inspiration from a different part of railway life; from bustling platform shops and travelling food trolleys to the railway carts where passengers have dined over generations.

Expect plenty of storytelling, a little nostalgia and, most importantly, a feast designed to make the journey every bit as exciting as the destination.
