London’s largest South East Asian festival, celebrASIA, returns to Battersea Power Station for the third year from 11^th-13^th

New for 2026, the festival will bring South East Asian cinema to the big screen with standout Malaysian films – Ola Bola, You Mean the World to Me and Babah, the exclusive UK screening of Indonesian film, Na Willa, and more.

Further details have been revealed on the festival’s biggest Street Food line-up yet, featuring more than 40 restaurants, rising stars and creative collaborations for 2026.

From live music and dance to street food, national dress parades, comedy, cooking classes and expert panel talks, celebrASIA 2026 will celebrate the flavours, stories and creativity of South East Asia.

Festival-goers can also enjoy Battersea Power Station’s wider attractions including The Chimney Lift Experience and over 170 shops, bars, restaurants and leisure venues.

The countdown has begun until London’s largest free-to-attend South East Asian festival, celebrASIA, returns to Battersea Power Station from Friday 11^th – Sunday 13^th September 2026.

With just under a month to go until the riverside neighbourhood is transformed into a spectacle of South East Asian heritage, culture and food, more details have now been revealed on the new additions to the three-day festival lineup.

2026 Film Festival

From Monday 7^th – Sunday 13^th September, visitors can discover the stories, cultures and creative voices of South East Asia at the celebrASIA Film Festival 2026, taking place at The Cinema in the Power Station and The Cinema in The Arches.

The film festival line-up features three standout Malaysian films – Ola Bola, You Mean the World to Me and Babah, a heartfelt Malaysian family drama that explores the enduring bond between a father and his daughter.

It also features the exclusive UK screening of 2026 release Na Willa, a coming-of-age, heartwarming story from the award-winning team behind Indonesian box-office hit, Jumbo. Plus, Thai documentary Aroi Mark, featuring renowned food and travel YouTuber, Mark Wiens.

The Biggest Street Food Lineup Yet

celebrASIA 2026 is set to serve up its biggest and most exciting street food line-up yet, bringing together more than 40 restaurants, rising stars and creative collaborations in Power Station Park.

There will be returning favourites like Eat Lah, Med Salleh, Filigrillz, Old Chang Kee and Bali Satay House. While new traders for 2026 include Syiok Lah (Malaysia), Ro Vietnamese, and Bija Coffee (Indonesia).

celebrASIA’s much-loved collaborations continue with even more dishes created exclusively for the festival including Chaisan x Sarawak Tourism Board, MamaPen (Cambodia) x From the Ashes BBQ, Farang (Thailand) x The Duck Shed and Bong Dogz, combining Filipino flavours from Bong Bong’s Manilla Canteen and Oh My Dog!’s playful approach to classic American street food. Mandy Yin x Chick ’n’ Sours also returns for a third year with their iconic chicken satay burger.

Expert Panel Talks

An exciting series of ticketed expert panel talks curated by Anna Sulan Masing will showcase South East Asia’s global influence across fashion, food, literature and culture. Panellists include Helena Lee, Features Editor at Harper’s Bazaar, Audrey Khew from the British Fashion Council, writer MiMi Aye, Abby Lee from Mambow and John Newbigin OBE, Mayor of London’s Ambassador for Creative Industries.

Festivalgoers will also be able to discover an Artisan Market inside the Power Station featuring more than 50 independent traders offering a rich variety of products, ranging from sauces, spices, gifts, accessories and snacks. Plus, unmissable live music and dance performances in Power Station Park, interactive arts and crafts sessions for all ages, cooking classes at Borough Kitchen and much more.

“I felt that there was a lack of understanding and exposure to Vietnamese culture and cuisine in the UK. celebrASIA gives me the opportunity to celebrate my Vietnamese heritage, introduce more people to our food and culture, and be surrounded by so many other incredible Asian communities and businesses.”

Driven by community and cultural exchange, Battersea Power Station is working in partnership with the High Commissions and Embassies of the 11 member countries of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to deliver celebrASIA, the largest festival of its kind in the UK.

Demonstrating the phenomenal demand in London to celebrate South East Asian culture, celebrASIA has consistently drawn record numbers to the riverside neighbourhood including over 176,000 visitors in 2025.

The festival takes place both inside and around the iconic Grade II* listed Power Station, which has strong links to the South East Asian region through the development’s Malaysian owners.

Travelling to Battersea Power Station for celebrASIA could not be easier with the Zone 1 Battersea Power Station Underground station bringing the riverside neighbourhood within 15 minutes of the West End and the City. Battersea Power Station also has its very own Uber Boat by Thames Clippers pier and is a 15-minute journey from Embankment, 20 minutes from Blackfriars, 30 minutes from Putney and 40 minutes from Canary Wharf. The riverside neighbourhood is easily accessible by bus, bike, car and train too.
