Game On! The Battersea Games Makes A Grand Return To Battersea Power Station This Summer
Battersea Power Station will once again be transformed into London’s most exciting sports and games venue this summer with the return of The Battersea Games from 1st July – 8th September 2024.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a fun calendar of activities perfect for all ages both inside and outside the Grade II* listed Power Station including a 100m running track, table tennis, climbing wall, fast feet football, cycle speed racing, fitness classes, a Rocket Padel pop-up court and much more.
Included in The Battersea Games line up will be an Official Team GB Fanzone and an Official ParalympicsGB Fanzone for Paris 2024, as well as The Wimbledon Experience presented by Ocean Outdoor and the All England Lawn Tennis Club, with all the live action from these and other large sporting events shown on a big screen in Power Station Park.
Visitors to The Battersea Games can also enjoy more than 140 shops, restaurants, bars and unique leisure experiences now open at Battersea Power Station, providing the perfect summer day out.
Battersea Power Station will once again be the home of sports and games this summer, with the return of The Battersea Games from 1st July – 8th September 2024. Now in its second year, visitors will have the chance to spectate or participate in an exciting array of sports and game activities across the riverside neighbourhood.
The six-acre Power Station Park will be transformed into London’s most exciting sporting venue, offering a variety of free family-friendly activities for all ages, ranging from a 100m running track to a flexi space, which will host a great mix of exercise classes. Padel pioneers, Rocket Padel, will also be hosting a pop-up court in the park ahead of opening Central London’s first riverside indoor Padel courts at Battersea Power Station later in the summer.
The Wimbledon Experience presented by Ocean Outdoor and the All-England Lawn Tennis Club will be returning for a second year with all the live action being shown on the big screen in Power Station Park from 1st – 14th July.
This will be followed by all the action from the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. From 26th July – 11th August, the Official Team GB Battersea Power Station Fanzone will showcase all the action from the Olympic Games, delivered in partnership by Team GB and Ocean Outdoor. The Paralympic Games will then round off an epic summer of sport with one of the capital’s Official ParalympicsGB Fanzones open from 28th August – 8th September, also delivered by Ocean Outdoor.
Plus, there will be evening film screenings organised by The Cinema in the Power Station and other summer sporting fixtures such as England Cricket Test Matches and the Tour de France will be shown on the big screen throughout The Battersea Games.
Inside the Grade II* listed Power Station, a climbing wall will give visitors the chance to race to the ceiling of Turbine Hall B and soak up the views of the historic building. There will also be table tennis, cycle speed racing, fitness classes, a fast feet football competition and events hosted by the mix of sports and athleisure brands based at Battersea Power Station, as well as giant games including Chess and Connect 4.
Foodies will be in for a treat as Arcade Food Hall will be taking over the Grade II* listed Coaling Jetty on the River Thames, with the exciting arrival of outdoor pop-up, ArcadeX. Diners will be able to feast on delicious dishes from popular Arcade Food Hall brands South American-inspired grill Solis, LA-style smash burger joint Manna, Japanese street food stall Sushi Kamon and cult Taiwanese brand BAO®. The pop-up adds to more than 50 restaurants, cafes and bars now open at Battersea Power Station, including El Pastor, Where The Pancakes Are, Dishoom, tashas, Brindisa Tapas, Roti King and Gordon Ramsay Bread Street Kitchen & Bar to name a few. Brilliant grab and go options include Poke House, Kova, Leon, itsu, and M&S Foodhall, perfect for visitors looking to have a picnic in Power Station Park.

Travelling to Battersea Power Station couldn’t be easier with the Zone 1 Battersea Power Station Underground station bringing the riverside neighbourhood within 15 minutes of the West End and the City. Battersea Power Station also has its very own Uber Boat by Thames Clippers pier and is a 15-minute journey from Embankment, 20 minutes from Blackfriars, 30 minutes from Putney and 40 minutes from Canary Wharf. The riverside neighbourhood is easily accessible by bus, bike, car and train too.
