Easter is just around the corner and Battersea Power Station is gearing up for an ‘egg-ceptional’ season filled with exciting family-friendly activities from Monday 24th March – Sunday 27th April 2025. With a vibrant mixture of The Big Egg Hunt 2025 trail, family-friendly arts and craft sessions, mini rides and the riverside neighbourhood’s first ever chocolate market, visitors of all ages are in for an unforgettable Easter celebration.

Battersea Power Station will play a leading role in The Big Egg Hunt 2025, a city-wide art spectacle curated by wildlife charity, Elephant Family, and Clarence Court, with the riverside neighbourhood hosting 21 large-scale decorated eggs, the biggest collection in the trail. The stunning eggs will be on display inside and outside the Grade II* listed Power Station and have been designed by some of the world’s most renowned creatives, spanning art, design, interiors, food and retail including Mr Doodle, LUAP, LOVE BRAND, Mario Sorrenti, Laxmi Hussain, Ryan Lanji, Shantanu, Fanakapan and Nikhil.

The Big Egg Hunt is a free self-guided art trail, which invites people to embark on an ‘egg-citing’ egg hunt across the capital, ticking off each discovery on an app that reveals prizes along the way. The exhibition concludes on Sunday 27th April when some of the sculptures will be auctioned to raise important funds for conservation projects supported by Elephant Family.

From 18th – 21st April, the Power Station’s historic Turbine Hall B will host The Chocolate Station, Battersea Power Station’s first ever chocolate market with stalls selling delicious chocolate-based creations ranging from bean-to-bar to truffles, hot chocolate and cacao. There will be chocolate bars, eggs and truffles from the likes of Cornwall’s Chocolarder, Belgium’s oldest chocolate manufacturer Meurisse, Bristol’s Ruby Hue and London based chocolatiers, Adam’s Chocolates and Diana’s Chocolates, whose creations are all vegan. Plus, Ritual Cacao and Chocolate Kisses, while Midnight Pantry and Ty Couture will be on hand to supply cakes, cookies and more.

The chocolate fun doesn’t stop there with more treats on offer at a small selection of street food trucks in Power Station Park including Duck Shed, who will be offering a Mexican-inspired slow roast pulled duck dish with a chilli and dark chocolate mole sauce, and Dante’s Churros, serving up sweet churros with a decadent chocolate dipping sauce. Made of Dough will be bringing their Neapolitan style pizzas to the park with several chocolate specials available and Venezuelan street food experts, Pabellon, will serve their much-loved arepas, nachos and loaded fries, plus chocolate French fries for those with a sweet tooth.

Across the Easter weekend, Power Station Park will be buzzing with ticketed, interactive arts and crafts sessions and activities designed to unleash children’s creativity. On 18th April, Sharky & George will host chocolate-themed sessions featuring classic party games, game show sessions and creative challenges. GlueGang, the art experience experts, will host two sessions on Saturday 19th April for children to lean into their creative side. At the Paint & Plant arts and craft session, little ones can decorate their own pot, then fill it with real spring followers to take home with them, whilst the Chocolate Slime session will be the ultimate Easter-inspired sensory play as children can dive into a world of squishy, stretchy fun, making their very own chocolate-scented slime from scratch.

Easter inspired arts and crafts will continue on Sunday 20th and Monday 21st April, including basket decorating and spring-inspired felt animal ear creating. Children can also unleash their inner Easter bunny by hopping on the Bungee Trampolines in Power Station Park, get creative with free face painting, or take a spin on the Bumper Cars located inside Turbine Hall B between 5th – 21st April.
