To mark this historic occasion, visitors to Battersea Power Station will gather under the building’s iconic chimneys to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on 6th and 7th May

Visitors will enjoy a truly British street party featuring Union Jack-themed decorations, family-friendly activities and live entertainment

While joining in the spectacular celebrations, visitors will also be able to take advantage of special Coronation-themed menus, cocktails and offers from the great mix of shops, bars, restaurants and leisure venues now open at Battersea Power Station

As the UK comes together to toast the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May, one of Britain’s most iconic buildings, Battersea Power Station, is inviting members of the local community and visitors from further afield, to celebrate together at a truly British street party.

Proceedings of the Coronation itself will be broadcast live on a big screen in the six acre park in front of the Grade II* listed Power Station from 11am on both days so visitors can keep up with all the royal action as it happens and the London landmark’s iconic chimneys will be lit up for the occasion across the weekend.

As well as celebrating the Coronation, the street party will pay tribute to the  best of British culture with Modern Party’s renditions of British music classics, Union Jack Flag Dancers who will be returning to Battersea Power Station for a second spin and live performances from Elton John and Spice Girls tribute acts, Busk In London, One Man Band, the south London based music academy charity, World Heart Beat, and the Battersea Power Station Community Choir will also be performing as during the weekend.

There will be plenty of fun to be had for families with children with Miss Ballooniverse who will be creating the little ones’ favourite characters from balloons, and Bus King Theatre will bring their red double-decker bus for live puppet shows and interactive theatre sessions. Bounce will also be bringing some of their popular ping pong tables, resident Games Gurus, and pizza truck down to the celebrations to add a touch of competitive fun ahead of the opening of the brand’s newest venue inside the Power Station this summer.

Visitors can also expect special Coronation offers from Penhaligon’s, British jeweller ROX, Superdry and more. Fiume, Le Bab, Birdies Battersea Crazy Golf & Bar and many more eateries at Battersea Power Station will be offering Coronation-themed menus and cocktails, and there will be various food and drink pop-ups.
