Our fantastic festival ambassadors are here to share why you should visit!
B-Boy Sunni
- The energy is going to be a vibe all weekend with so many live performances. I can’t wait to see the traditional dances from different countries across the region.
- Breaking is hungry work and it’s a great opportunity to experience traditional Southeast Asian food in the heart of London at the mix of street food pop-ups.
- There’s something for everyone and all ages to enjoy. It’s a day out for the whole family.
- A chance to learn more about the South East Asian culture and heritage, and to meet new people.
- I’ll be there performing live and running a breaking workshop for the next generation. Come learn some moves or just catch the show!
Oniatta Effendi
- Because there’s something deeply moving about seeing your culture take its place on a global stage. Last year, I found myself surrounded by familiar accents, vibrant textiles, and the quiet comfort of Southeast Asian warmth right in the heart of London.
- Because we’re showing up again. This time, Baju by Oniatta will present the Tambal series. Rooted in the idea of patchwork, tambal speaks of protection and healing – both deeply needed, deeply relevant.
- Because the air will carry familiar notes – aromas that stop you mid-step. They’re bold, layered, and instantly grounding. At celebrASIA, flavour isn’t just about food – it’s a memory, identity, and that quiet thrill of recognising something deeply yours.
- Because celebrASIA is more than a festival – it’s a feeling. A joyful gathering filled with music, movement, conversations and craft. It’s where stories come alive, and where connections old and new are made.
- Because I’ll be there – and I’d love to see you. If you’re from the region and living in London, this space might feel like a homecoming. And if you’re not, come for the batik, stay for the stories and maybe leave with a little more than you came with.

- There’s so much music and dance to enjoy! From DJs to gamelan instrumentalists, you’ll encounter melodies and rhythms you may never have heard before.
- The variety of street food trucks will seriously rev up your appetite. Be curious: Try something you’ve never tasted before, like a Singaporean curry puff, a Filipino silog (garlic fried rice with egg), or a pickled watermelon salad.
- The Artisan Market inside the Power Station is a must-visit. You can purchase unique gifts for loved ones from around the region and even make your own at the arts and crafts workshops.
- celebrASIA isn’t the kind of festival where you stay in one spot. It’s a full-on cultural adventure and a fun way to get your steps in.
- The joy echoes beyond the main stage. The artists feel your energy and they give it right back. Dance along, applaud, ask questions, and share the joy!
