Firstly, we would recommend signing up to WelcoMe. This is a FREE web-based platform for you and is designed to enhance accessibility by enabling individuals with disabilities to inform participating venues of their specific needs in advance, facilitating personalized and inclusive customer experiences. Helping guests plan their visit ahead and WelcoMe shares your accessibility needs and preferences discreetly and securely in advance to help you enjoy Battersea Power Station.
Accessible Toilets – available throughout The Power Station and require a RADAR key for entry. If you do not have a RADAR key, our guest services team can provide access
Sensory Packs – Sensory backpacks containing over-ear headphones, sunglasses, fidget toys, and communication cards are available to borrow to support individuals with sensory sensitivities
Hidden Disabilities Lanyards Available (Free) – Sunflower lanyards are available from our guest services team to indicate that you may need additional support
Wheelchair Accessible – we are wheelchair accessible and have a range of facilities to support visitors with mobility needs
Step-free access – The venue is designed with step-free routes throughout, including accessible lifts and ramps
Wheelchair & Mobility Scooter Loan – Complimentary manual wheelchairs and electric scooters are available. It’s recommended to reserve in advance by contacting the Guest Services team at guestservices@bpsms.co.uk
BSL – British Sign Language via Signlive – Online video interpreting services through its Video Relay Service (VRS) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)
Disabled Parking – There are 45 disabled parking spaces available in the Circus West Village and Electric Boulevard car parks. These spaces are available specifically for use by Blue Badge holders and are charged at standard rates
Changing Places Toilet (CPT) – A Changing Places facility is located on the first floor, north side, accessible using a RADAR key
Ear Defenders – these are included in the sensory backpacks
Sighted Guide and Visual Impairment Assistance – Shopping guide or assistance is available for those who are visually impaired or have low vision. Companion canes are also available as part of this service
Hearing Loops – Our Guest Services desks are equipped with hearing loops to assist visitors with hearing aids or cochlear implants
