Paper Geometry: Origami with Coco Sato at Moleskine

Join Moleskine for a special origami workshop with Coco Sato, exploring the beauty and precision of this traditional Japanese craft. Rooted in centuries of practice, origami reveals a fascinating connection between art, mathematics, and design, where simple folds transform paper into intricate, sculptural forms.

“A single sheet of paper can become a pattern, structure, and sculpture. Discover how repeated folds create sculptural geometric forms inspired by contemporary origami and architecture.”

Whether you’re new to origami or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop offers a mindful and creative space to experiment, learn, and connect. Each participant will leave with beautifully handcrafted origami creations, along with a handmade Origamo x Moleskine card.

About the artist: Coco Sato is a Japanese origami artist working between London and Tokyo. Her practice reimagines traditional paper folding through a contemporary lens, creating calm, tactile experiences that explore geometry, culture, and the joy of making by hand. She has created a site-specific installation for Westminster Abbey, taught workshops at the V&A, and collaborated with brands including Lexus and Georg Jensen. At Moleskine Battersea, Coco will lead a seasonal workshop series inspired by the beauty and symbolism of each season.
