Moleskine Creative Event | TetraPak Printmaking with Millie Avis

Join Moleskine for a 2-hour printmaking masterclass and discover the creative possibilities hidden inside an everyday Tetra Pak carton.

Sunday, July 26 – 1 PM – 3 PM.

Using recycled juice and milk cartons, you’ll learn how to transform this unexpected material into beautiful printing plates. Led by Newcastle and London based printmaker Millie Avis. Millie works across printmaking, painting and drawing, alongside working with arts communities and charities.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike, this workshop offers the opportunity to explore a sustainable printmaking technique, learn a new skill, and spend the day experimenting with texture, mark-making and colour.

Please bring along any printed images you’d like to work from for inspiration, and if you have any empty Tetra Pak juice or milk cartons, feel free to bring those too. As with all printmaking, things can get messy, so they recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little inky.

All abilities are welcome, and all printmaking materials are provided. Included in the ticket is a Moleskine Pocket Notebook to take home.

At Moleskine’s Creative Flagship Store, notebooks meet workshops, live events and community creativity. Join a workshop and receive a Workshop Rewards Card. Collect a stamp with each workshop you attend, and after 8 stamps, receive a complimentary gifted Moleskine journal.
