386 affordable homes have been delivered at New Mansion Square as part of the Battersea Power Station masterplan in partnership with housing association, Peabody.

In addition, Battersea Power Station has announced a partnership with Wandsworth Council to deliver 200 new high quality council homes as part of the Homes for Wandsworth programme.

Phase 4A – New Mansion Square

Designed by award-winning architects Patel Taylor, New Mansion Square has been inspired by the traditional Victorian style mansion blocks, which have been reimagined for 21st century living.

The apartments range from studios to one and two-bedroom apartments. These new homes offer views across London and access to plenty of outdoor space with almost each home being dual aspect, including either a private balcony or terrace alongside beautifully landscaped residents’ gardens.

Alongside new homes, New Mansion Square features a children’s play area, workspaces, studios and retail units to support local businesses and a new NHS medical centre, which is currently being fitted out and due to open in spring 2026. BLINK Dance Theatre, a grassroots, neurodiverse dance and theatre company, has now moved into ‘Space 52’, a new cultural space within New Mansion Square.

New Mansion Square residents are part of the exciting and vibrant community that is being created around the iconic Battersea Power Station. A short walk from the London landmark itself, and only a stone’s throw from the new Northern Line extension, New Mansion Square is a great new addition to one of London’s newest neighbourhoods.

Phase 5A

Battersea Power Station and Wandsworth Council are working in partnership to build around 200 new high-quality council homes as part of the development’s 42-acre masterplan. This marks the next chapter of the Battersea Power Station development, expanding the established mix of homes, workplaces and cultural experiences.

The new homes, part of the council’s Homes for Wandsworth programme, would be built on a currently undeveloped plot within Phase 5 of the Battersea Power Station masterplan, to the east of the Grade II* listed building.

Subject to planning and funding approvals, the development would provide well-designed homes for local families at social rent levels, a significant step towards tackling the housing crisis and creating mixed, balanced communities across the borough.
