About Vagabond Wines

In 2017, Vagabond built their urban winery in Battersea Power Station’s Circus West Village, and started on our journey of making English wines in London’s Zone 1. The success of the winery has been beyond the expert team’s wildest expectations, bringing home more than 30 medals for their wine, with the 2020 Chardonnay becoming one of the first still English wines ever to receive a platinum medal at Decanter Awards. José is the wonderful man in charge of making Vagabond’s wines, staying true to principles of hands on, artisanal, low intervention winemaking to try to make the highest quality and most interesting English wines possible.
