Food Festival in Battersea Park

A two-day festival celebrating local food, drink and music will take place in Battersea Park on the weekend of 15-16 July.

Foodstock London (LDN) will offer street food, a farmers’ market, local craft beer, live music, entertainment for the kids, workshops for adults, and the Wimbledon finals on a huge screen with strawberries and cream.

According to the organisers:

“Whether you’re sweet toothed or have more of a savoury palate, we’ve got something tasty for you.

“Our global-inspired flavours include Korean BBQ, Indian, Caribbean, contemporary Moroccan, Nigerian, Greek, Brazilian, Venezuelan, Chinese, Spanish, French, Italian, South African – even sushi burritos.

“Our menus cater to vegetarians, gluten free, vegans, meat-lovers; no matter who you are or where you hail from, you just need to love food and music.”

Apart from the food trucks and stands, festival goers can also enjoy a five-course lunch in the Gourmet Area from Lucky Pierre’s pop-up restaurant. There will be a huge range of beverages on offer including cocktails, cider slush and beers of all kinds.

The Children’s Area will have free organised games and workshops in the shade, along with funfair rides and zorb balls on water.

Online Advance Entry Only tickets are £2 for adults and £1 for children. Tickets can be purchased on the day either online, or onsite at £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. Booking fees apply.

The festival will be about 10 minutes’ walk from Grosvenor Arch via the riverside walk into the park.
