Christmas at Battersea Power Station
Due to the new Tier 4 restrictions, The Winter Village at Battersea Power Station has now closed. Circus West Village is still dressed to impress in its festive finest including over 100 Christmas trees and a 30ft spruce tree with over 1,000 baubles and 19,000 LED lights, so we'll be sharing images on our social media channels to keep your spirits up.
Cinderella: A Socially Distanced Ball (Online)
The Turbine Theatre once again opened it's doors earlier this month with a special pantomime performance of Cinderella: The Socially Distanced Ball. Written by Jodie Prenger and Neil Hurst, this adults only pantomime has now gone digital, with tickets (one stream on a device) now only £12.50.
Nine Elms Art Ministry’s Advent Calendar
Following a successful first year, Nine Elms Arts Ministry are returning with a new Advent Calendar, which will light both the windows and hearts of the Nine Elms and Battersea community. From 5th December – 2nd January, the windows of 24 local businesses and community organisations will be illuminated and decorated by local artists following the theme of ‘Light in the Darkness’. The Turbine Theatre, No. 29 Power Station West, Paul Edmonds and The Riverhouse at Battersea Power Station will all be taking part in the trail, as well as a new exciting addition with one of the windows of Fosters + Partners’ Battersea Roof Gardens in the third phase of the development also being decorated.
