Archlight Cinema's Top 10 Easter Films

Located in the beautiful arches of Circus West Village, Archlight offer the latest release and much-loved classic films in a bespoke cinema purpose built for your comfort.   1. Hop - A hopeless slacker accidentally runs over the Easter Bunny (voiced by Russel Brand) and he must help take over the bunny’s duties to save Easter for everyone. (Suitable for all ages)
  2. Chicken Little - What came first, the chicken or the Easter egg? You won’t find the answer here, but this reimaged ‘Boy who cried Wolf’ tale is family delight. (Suitable for all ages)
  3. Easter Yeggs - Need a quick break from the Easter Egg hunt? This 7-minute gem features perhaps the world’s most famous Bunny – Bugs! You can watch it here. (Suitable for all ages)
  4. Easter Parade - It may be over 60 years old, but this classic MGM Musical featuring the singing and dancing talents of two Hollywood icons, Judy garland and Fred Astaire, hasn’t aged a day. (Suitable for all ages)
  5. Peter Rabbit - Catch up on this charming, silly adventure based on Beatrix Potter’s classic books, before the sequel arrives at Archlight Cinema later this year. (PG)
  6. Rise of the Guardians - The Easter Bunny teams up with Jack Frost, Santa Clause, Tooth Fairy and Sandman to fight evil forces – who even needs the Avengers anymore!? (PG)
  7. Who Framed Roger Rabbit - An oldie but a goodie, and perhaps the only time you’ll see Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny on screen together – an Easter miracle! (PG)
  8. Zootopia - Although not about the Easter Bunny, this rabbit centric tale is one of Disney’s best efforts of recent years. (PG)
  9. Jesus Christ Superstar - Another musical on the list (Easter is the time for singing, right?) – Be careful, these tunes will be stuck in your head long after the holiday ends! (12A)
  10. Monty Python’s Life of Brian - This Easter, perhaps more than ever, we need to “always look on the bright side of life”. (12A)
