The new store will be situated on Electric Boulevard, an exciting new high street for the capital that will run from the south of the Power Station, between Frank Gehry’s Prospect Place and Foster + Partners’ Battersea Roof Gardens. The new high street will offer a mix of bars and restaurants, office space, shops, a park, community hub and a new 164 room hotel from art’otel®, the brand’s first hotel to open in the UK.

Customers visiting the new ZARA will be able to shop all the brand’s product ranges within one store, including Woman, Man, Kids and Home collections. The store will be spread across two floors within the stunning ‘Prospect Place’, designed by internationally renowned architect, Frank Gehry.

Battersea Power Station will become the capital’s leading retail and leisure destination for Londoners and international visitors once it opens from September 2022.

Simon Murphy, Chief Executive Officer at Battersea Power Station Development Company (BPSDC), said:

“We are creating a completely new high street for London and to have an internationally renowned high street brand like ZARA open a significant store in the UK and the first store south of the river in central London at Battersea Power Station is a testament to the continued desirability of this unique project. With our very own London Underground station and river bus pier, we’re also set to be one of the best-connected shopping, dining and cultural areas in the capital and we look forward to welcoming visitors to Battersea Power Station from September of this year.”

Sam Cotton, Head of Leasing at Battersea Power Station Development Company (BPSDC), said:

“Bringing powerhouse brands such as ZARA to Battersea Power Station is very exciting and helps firmly cement us as the new go-to place for shopping in London. There is no doubt that Battersea Power Station will be one of the must-visit destinations once we open the Grade II* listed building and Electric Boulevard to the public from September this year. We have already announced a strong line-up of brands and all I can say is watch this space as there’s still more to come!”

Battersea Power Station will be the centrepiece of a new ‘15-minute’ live, work and play neighbourhood, which will act as a new hub for the local and wider communities, a new business quarter for the capital and a retail and leisure destination for Londoners and international visitors. The Power Station will be home to 254 residential apartments, over 100 retail shops, restaurants and cafés, including a unique 18,500 sq ft food hall concept, office and event spaces.

Circus West Village, the first completed chapter in the regeneration of Battersea Power Station, is already home to over 1,700 residents and more than 20 bars, restaurants, cafés, fitness and leisure offerings.
