Battersea Arts Centre Fundraiser For Grenfell Victims

The Battersea Arts Centre is to hold a fundraising event for those affected by the devastating fire at Grenfell Tower in West London.

The event, headlined by comedian Mark Thomas, will take place on June 19 with all proceeds going to the Grenfell Tower Appeal.

Daniel Kitson will host the event, which will feature a line-up including Jeremy Hardy, Josie Long, Heydon Prowse, and Imran Yusuf. Other acts are still to be confirmed.

Thomas, who will also perform, said that organising the fundraiser is “the least we can do to help our fellow Londoners.

“After the fire at Battersea Arts Centre and the support people gave then, it is fitting that the organisation should now be hosting an event to help others,” he said. A fire at the Arts Centre in 2015 saw its historic grand hall completely destroyed.
