Samuel Beckett’s seminal work is coming to Arches Lane Theatre this June, just across the river from the Royal Court, where it has its UK premiere in 1955.

Vladimir and Estragon are waiting. They don’t know why, they don’t know where, and they don’t know if he’s coming. In a desolate world, two wanderers battle the absurdity of existence, trading jokes, fears, and hope in a desperate attempt to pass the time. Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece is a haunting, funny, and deeply human look at our search for meaning in a meaningless world.
