Returning for its fifth year, the Light Festival at Battersea Power Station has returned as one of the best free activities to do in London this winter, brightening up the dark evenings again with eight installations from British and International artists from the 23rd January until the 23rd February.

•  Love is in the air at Lift 109 this Valentine’s Day! Offering breath-taking views of the London skyline from the top of the Power Station’s north-west chimney, the glass elevator makes for a unique date night spot.

On Tuesday 11th February, Malin + Goetz has partnered with renowned flower studio LOVERGIRL to bring you a unique sensory experience. Visit them in store for an immersive world of art and floristry where you can explore scent through home styling, interactive card games, and more – plus, enjoy a complimentary flower with your visit!

Battersea Power Station is the ultimate place to dine out whatever your budget, we have over 50 restaurants to choose from, with a few even putting on some special menus for the night…

• Soak up the beautiful river views at Fiume, the modern Italian restaurant inspired by the traditional food of The Amalfi Coast. Sweep your special someone off their feet and indulge in a delectable four-course feast this Valentine’s day. Highlights include a velvety red beetroot and goat’s cheese risotto, tender grilled beef steak served with fondant potato and a decadent chocolate mousse drizzled with tangy cherry coulis.

Voted one of South London’s most romantic restaurants, Megan’s At The Power Station offers beautiful surroundings and Mediterranean-influenced dishes. With enchanting fairy-lit interiors and a delicious menu designed for sharing, it sets the scene for an unforgettable date night. Start with Turkish cheese fondue or a sharing platter before enjoying signature dishes like the open ‘posh’ kebabs, mezze feast, or mixed skewer grill. The experience isn’t complete without the indulgent half-baked cookie dough, filled with Nutella and topped with pistachios, honey, and ice cream.

JOIA, located on the 15th floor of the art’otel, is offering a delicious selection of their signature Portugeuse dishes and a glass of champagne for £125pp. Find out more and book here. In addition, and as a way to see out this year’s Light Festival, book the Blackout Dinner at JOIA on Thursday 20th February. • Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Megan’s in their magical, fairy-lit restaurants with a £35pp set menu, available from 3pm on Friday 14th February only. Serving the best of the Megan’s Eastern Mediterranean inspired menu, the new set menu is sure to whisk you & your loved one away to places far sunnier this Valentine’s Day. Treat your partner to a welcome glass of Prosecco, Mirabeau rose, or upgrade to a bottle of Lanson Champagne for £55, before tucking into three courses of authentic food from the Med. Megan’s are also dog friendly so your pup can join in on date night too!

• Celebrate Valentine’s at Solis and enjoy a complimentary cocktail or mocktail when you book for 2 or more. Their Valentine’s special Frambuesa is packed with fresh raspberries and vibrant Latin flavours, it’s the perfect way to kick off your celebration. • Join No.29 Power Station West to indulge in a romantic 2-course Valentine’s Day experience, with a glass of Della Vite Prosecco Rosé for just £32.50pp. Choose from mouth-watering mains like dry-aged flat iron steak, pan-seared seabass, or pan-roasted potato gnocchi, followed by decadent desserts including pecan pie, apple & cinnamon pie, or a plant-based chocolate & orange cake. A perfect way to celebrate love!

Say it with sushi! Celebrate the person you love ‘koibito’ this Valentine’s Day with a specifically curated four-course meal at Sticks’n’Sushi at Battersea Power Station, bringing freshly prepared sushi and hot-off-the-grill sticks in an intimate setting. Lovers will enjoy a selection of signature appetisers, nigiri, house rolls, and sticks of Aka Ebi and Wagyu Yaki. Get hearts fluttering further with the indulgent dark chocolate fondant with a matcha core to finish, served with vanilla ice cream and a matcha cookie crumble. Don’t pass up the limited-edition ‘For the Sake of Love’ cocktail, blending sake with Hibiscus Mezcal and raspberry cordial for a sweet and smooth finish.

Control Room B, the 1950s styled bar within Battersea Power Station is set to launch the Power of Love menu with Ciroc Vodka for the month of February. The menu of three cocktails celebrates all forms of love—romantic, platonic, and self-love—through the metaphor of electricity focusing on sparking connections, building bonds, and sharing affection, whether it’s between friends, family, or oneself. Highlights include the The Current (£14.50) a refreshing and floral blend of Ciroc Red Berry vodka, rose & cucumber syrup, yuzu sherbet, topped with pink sparkling wine and The Power Surge (£14.50) a velvety yet fruity mix of Ciroc vodka, Mozart white chocolate liqueur, Cointreau orange liqueur, fresh basil leaf, strawberry purée, honey and chocolate bitters!

• Share the love at Searcys with a Berry Eton Mess – part of their Love at First Bite menu, and two “Head Over Heels” cocktails for £30. Searcys’ Valentines menu will be available through February.
