El Pastor + Amigos

El Pastor are thrilled to announce their international guest chef series in partnership with Herradura Tequila!

On Wednesday 18th June, El Pastor’s riverside restaurant here at Battersea Power Station will host Enrique Olvera for an exclusive evening celebrating the vibrancy and creativity of modern Mexican cuisine. Olvera is the visionary behind Mexico City’s iconic Pujol, Cosme in New York, Criollo in Oxaca, and Damien in Los Angeles. With a career that has shaped the global perception of Mexican food, he is recognised as one of the most influential voices in contemporary gastronomy.

For this special event, Olvera will present a four-course set menu with a bite, a taco course, a sharing dish, and a dessert – paired with a welcome cocktail courtesy of Herradura.

Dishes on the night will include a vibrant aguachile of cured tuna with fennel, coriander seeds and habanero; a Sinaloa-style taco of deep-fried cod with guajillo chili adobo (from Olvera’s forthcoming book Sunny Days, Taco Night); and an earthy Jerusalem artichoke barbacoa with salsa verde, sunchoke chicharrón, sunchoke cream and spring onions.
