One of the major restorations and stonework firms in London are based locally in Vauxhall. Szerelmey will be carrying out the repair and replacement of the glazed tiles in Turbine Hall A & B. The value of the work package will be £11 million.

"I have been involved in restoration work at Battersea Power Station since I came to work at Szerelmey in 1987. With our main workshops located close to the site, we’ve watched the changing fortunes of this magnificent building over the last 30 years. It’s a pleasure to be returning to the Power Station, this time to finally restore it to use."

GREENZONE

GreenZone is an environmentally friendly commercial and residential cleaning company based in Wandsworth.

“When GreenZone was established in 2010 we had a clear plan for our future growth. Fundamental to that was landing a contract with the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station, knowing the opportunities we would get by being associated with the iconic Grade II* listed building. Greenzone are one of the largest employers in the area and we knew our stance on delivering sustainable cleaning services would be of interest to the Power Station.”
