BBC Bitesize and Sir David Attenborough

BBC Bitesize is a new website bringing three new lessons every weekday with videos activities and more. To top it all off, Sir David Attenborough will be educating pupils as part of the BBC’s offering to help school children during the coronavirus pandemic. The legendary presenter will explain topics such as oceans and animals, while a whole range of other famous faces have also joined the corporation’s mission to ensure that kids across the UK have access to curriculum supported learning for the summer term.

Lessons are available from Monday on BBC Bitesize Daily on BBC iPlayer and BBC Red Button, with all elements developed by teaching professionals. Find out more here.  - Suitable for all ages

Explained with LEGO

If you need a little creative help explaining how things ‘work’ or are ‘made’ to your little ones, then check out the Explained with LEGO series on YouTube. We particular like the ‘How Skyscrapers are Built’ video as you can learn lots about construction – our favourite topic! Have LEGO at home? Why not check out this guide on how to build your very own Battersea Power Station too. - Recommended for ages 5+
